“Leigh was an absolutely amazing photographer, she is so easy to work with and her energy is fun to be around. I feel like she could turn anyone into a model with her creative posing and uncanny ability to capture your best angle and lighting. She photographed my bridal portraits and wedding and pays such good attention to details that an average photographer might overlook. I highly recommend her for your wedding because the photos will truly preserve all those fleeting memories of your big day!”- Megan Marini

On their 4th anniversary of dating,ย  Rich proposed after hiking 5 miles up Table Rock mountain. He stated “we climbed this mountain together and now I want to climb all of life’s obstacles with you.” Megan recalls it being such a magical moment with a breathtaking view!

Outdoor Charleston Wedding

With the couple’s love of nature, having an outdoor Charleston wedding was a logical move. They wanted to have a simple and classy wedding that would not take away from the beauty of their outdoor venue. Old Wide Awake was perfect for their needs. Their floral palette was inspired by nature with white roses, eucalyptus, and accented with blue hydrangeas a popular southern flower. Their wedding coordinator, Tara Le Claire Weddings, created a dreamy southern vibe by wrapping the chandelier in greenery , utilized the string lighting from the venue, having white linens, and rustic wood accents for the food displays.

Megan & Rich’s wedding at Old Wide Awake Plantation was a successful celebration of their love filled with great food, dancing, and close friends and family.
